1973 Lotus Europa Special (Twin Cam 4 Cyl)
Vehicle Description
This 1973 Lotus Europa Special
features a big valve, twin cam inline 4 cylinder engine. It is a 4 speed
transmission and has the original engine which has had some work done on
it by the previous owner. The car runs well and has an odometer reading of
01143. It needs a new paint job as most of it has chipped in a “web” or “river”
pattern. The most obvious defect is the crack that has occurred on top of
the front wheel well on the driver’s side (see photo). The car also comes
with two extra tires and a drop in well for the trunk (see photo). The fan
for the heater does not work and the rearview mirror has fallen off the windshield,
but, overall, this is a solid car and would make an excellent project for
any car enthusiast.
Please note that I am not the owner of the car, but
am selling it for him. He has owned the car for two years (He is the third
owner) and intended to use the car as project to refurbish. However, time
didn’t permit him to do this and he is now looking to sell the car. We have
