       She is about as close to being an Enka performer, without actually being an Enka performer, of anyone I can think of... So she is included here. She's on the TV show "NHK Song Concert" a lot these days, wearing sparkly gowns and still with a lot of style. Her songs tend to be more "sexy" than the usual Enka ballad. For some reason, her CD's are hard to find, or maybe they just sell out fast. I was only able to get this tape cassette, which is a really excellent one. Her voice is unique and I enjoy listening to her. This song selection is live, and you can hear the Master of Ceremonies speaking first.
