Here is another singer whose style might be the "Osaka" type. She makes generous use of rasping emphasis (listen to the sample) and gutteral double consonants. At first hearing, I suspected that the songs on this album were fairly old, and that this was a reissue. But I don't believe that is the case. A traditional sound doesn't change that much through the years, and judging by the high quality of the recording, this cannot be that old. I can't say this album is a favorite of mine... but I haven't listened to it a lot either because it didn't appeal to me right away. It probably isn't fair for me to rate it.
